Community

Where your garage meets everyone else's. Follow builds, share your work, and find cars through scenes like #foxbody.

The Community tab

Top to bottom on iPhone:

  • Stories: quick moments from builds you follow, plus New to add yours.
  • Following: builds you follow.
  • Discover: tap Find builds to follow.
  • Activity: what those builds are posting. Show More loads older posts.

Tap the filter icon and pick Photos, Drives, Notes, Tasks, Routes, or Specs to narrow Activity.

Your feed is public posts from builds and scenes you follow, plus your own.

Following builds and scenes

Open any public build that isn't yours and tap Follow this Build. It becomes Following.

A scene is a tag, like #cota or #junkyard-turbo. Open one and tap Follow to pull its posts into your feed.

Discover

Search with Search tags or builds to get Tags and Builds results. Each build has a Follow button.

Scenes and tags

Tap a tag on any post to open its scene page:

  • Counts for Posts, Builds, and Followers, plus Follow.
  • Top Builds, Top Posts, and Latest.
  • Related Tags for neighboring scenes.

Post to the community

Both ways start at the floating + on the Community tab.

Photos Post

  1. Tap +, then Photos Post.
  2. Tap Add Photos (up to 10).
  3. Write a caption under CAPTION (500 characters max).
  4. Add up to 8 tags under TAGS. Spaces become dashes.
  5. Pick an audience under SHARE WITH.
  6. Choose the build under POSTING TO.
  7. Tap Post.

You need a photo or a caption. No build yet? You'll see Add your first build to start posting.

Share from Garage

Tap +, then Share from Garage. Filter by type or build, pick an entry, add a caption and tags, and share. Already shared entries are hidden. All caught up! means nothing is left.

Who sees a post

  • Everyone: all your followers.
  • Public Crews: the public pages of crews you pick.
  • Crews: only crews you pick.
  • Just Me: your garage only. Share it later from the build.

Everything except Just Me needs a build. Crew options need at least one crew.

Mentions

Type @ in a caption, comment, or crew message and pick someone from the suggestions.

Likes and comments

Open a post to like it or comment. You need an account; signed out you only see counts.

  • Tap Reply to thread under a comment. Threads collapse under View replies.
  • The post creator gets an Author badge on iPhone.
  • Edit or delete your own comments.

From the three-dot menu on your post:

  • Make Private limits it to you and the crews you shared with. Make Public shows it to followers.
  • Delete Post is permanent.

Stories

Quick moments from a build. Each item stays up 24 hours.

Post a story

  1. Tap New on Community, or + then New Story.
  2. Choose the build at the top.
  3. Tap the shutter for a photo, hold for video (up to 60 seconds), or pick from your library.
  4. Add a caption (240 characters max).
  5. Check the preview. Retake starts over.
  6. Tap Share.

Public puts it on the build's story tray. People see it if the story and build are both public.

Watch and delete

Tap a build in the Stories row. Tap right or left to move, hold to pause, swipe down to close. The Stories screen groups items into Active builds, Highlights, and Archive.

To remove yours, choose Delete Story from its menu.

People and profiles

Tap an @username to see their public builds. No builds shows Empty Garage.

Report and block

Open the three-dot menu on someone else's post, comment, story, or crew message and choose Report. Pick a Reason, add Details, and tap Send.

Choose Block @username to stop seeing their posts and stories. They won't see yours either.
