Builds
A build is your car's profile page. Keep it private as a logbook, or go public so others can follow along.
Find your way around a build
- Feed: notes, tasks, photos, drives, and shared track results, newest first. Use All, Photos, Notes, or Tasks to narrow the feed. A filter appears once there is something to show.
- Build: specs and build info.
- Drives: your drive history for this car.
- Track: records, events, sessions, and setups for this car.
Your own feed includes private garage entries. Visitors see only posts shared with them, and their Drives tab shows shared drives. Their Track tab appears only after you share an event or session.
Edit a build
- Open the build from your Garage.
- Tap the three-dot menu and choose Edit Build.
- Change what you want and tap Save.
You can change the cover photo (Add Photo), NAME, SLUG, DESCRIPTION, and VISIBILITY. The slug follows your name until you edit it yourself.
Cover photo and photos
The cover photo is the big image at the top. Without one you'll see No Cover Photo.
Other photos live in Feed under the Photos filter. Add them with Add Photos from the Garage button. A photo post's menu has Share, Edit, and Delete.
Build info (specs)
Your spec sheet: horsepower, mileage, mods, whatever you like. Each item has a name and value; numbers can have a unit like hp or psi.
- Edit your build and open Build Info.
- Tap the plus.
- Enter a NAME, pick a TYPE (Number, Text, Toggle, Date, or File), and fill in VALUE.
- Turn on Show on Profile to make it public, then tap Add.
Items with Show on Profile appear as badges under your build name and in PROFILE INFO (hold and drag to reorder). The rest sit in OTHER INFO, private.
On a build page, the Build tab shows Profile Specs and Private Specs, plus Add Spec and Manage All Specs.
Public or private
The Public switch under VISIBILITY in Edit Build decides who sees the build. Off hides the build and everything in it. New builds start private.
Your public build page
Public builds get a page at /u/username/b/slug. Visitors can see the cover photo, description, public specs, and posts shared with them. Making a build public does not publish its private notes, drives, or track data.
In your build's three-dot menu, Preview as Visitor opens what a signed-out visitor sees. Private and crew-only posts stay hidden. Tap Done to return to your own view. Share Build shares the public link.
- Private or missing builds show Build not found.
- /u/username lists your public builds.
- Your signed-in view is /b/slug, where the Settings button lives.
Following builds
Open someone's public build and tap Follow this Build. It becomes Following. Public builds show their follower count.
Notes
Notes are your build log: what you changed, what broke, what's next.
- Tap the floating button in the Garage and choose Add Note.
- Add a Title (optional) and write in Note content.
- Pick a Build, or leave it on None.
- Tap Add.
Open a note from the Garage or from Feed, filtered to Notes. Its menu has Share, Edit, and Delete. Deleting can't be undone.
